Tramway and Light Railway Society

The Society was founded in 1938 to bring together those interested professionally or otherwise, in tramways and light railways. It is probably better known as a group of tramway modellers, modern and historical. Members have built model trams from systems all over the world.

Facilities which membership offers include:

Access to historical records and a library service for those interested in research and study of all facets of tramways and light railways.

"Tram Fare", an illustrated journal, issued free at regular intervals to members, with articles, news and correspondence columns.

Unrivalled information and advice on tramcar modelling in various scales and participation in exhibitions where the Society's model layouts are demonstrated.

Books and booklets on tramway and light railway subjects, often at reduced prices.

Regular meetings at venues throughout the United Kingdom.

A Model Engineering service of parts for large scale Model Trams.
